In over 20 years as a business improvement practitioner, I’ve worked with brilliant technicians as well as with genuine people who have fantastic relationship building skills…but rarely have I encountered individuals who possess both qualities. To help teams connect purpose, people, process, and performance they typically require a partner and coach who can address needs on both will (motivation) and skill (ability). Bob, founder of Climb LLC, has over 20 years of experience leading business improvement initiatives, programs, and company-wide transformation efforts within multiple Fortune 100 companies.

He started his career at GE, where he received his Six Sigma certification and training. Over the past several years, he merged this technical foundation with the practical application of Lean thinking, problem solving, and management practices. He has led over 50 successful improvement initiatives spanning operations, sales, finance, actuarial, clinical, and dozens more functional areas. He has also trained and coached thousands of people.
A hallmark of Bob’s approach is his ability to deeply understand the needs of his customers, tailor methods, and connect with people on a personal level to achieve sustainable outcomes. His positive attitude, passion for improvement, and sincere interest in helping people succeed has delivered award-winning results.
Bob holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He has completed extensive coursework in Leadership, Change Acceleration, Innovation, and is a certified trainer of the Bridges Transition Model. He has spoken on the topics of Strategy Deployment, Problem Solving, and Change Leadership at multiple non-profit conferences.

He resides near Hartford, CT with his wife and three children, ages 11, 13, and 15. Bob serves on the Board for a local non-profit and has an absolute passion for coaching youth sports.
